In Remote Sensing, Ursula Biemann analyses the trajectories and reasons to travel across the world of women who work for the sex industry. Using NASA satellite images, the film examines the consequences of military presence in South West Asia; as well a European migratory policy on a global level. This video essay gives a global point of view on cross-border circuits in which women reveal themselves as necessary actors.
